A Position Calculator determines the appropriate lot size for trading based on various inputs such as entry and stop-loss points, risk tolerance, account balance or equity, and even savings accounts. It takes into account the account currency and currency exchange rates as well.

The primary panel tab manages the core functions of the Expert Advisor (EA) and displays key results, including position size, risk-reward metrics, and the risk-to-reward ratio. The risk tab assesses current and potential risk and reward profiles. Using a straightforward algorithm, the EA evaluates the risk associated with open and pending orders, taking into consideration their stop-loss levels. It also estimates the potential benefits of open positions and the one calculated by the EA, based on take-profit levels. This method does not consider complex scenarios like hedged orders and positions.

The margin tab shows details about the margin for calculated positions, including the amount of used and available margin after opening a position, and the largest possible position size based on the current margin and leverage. The swaps tab provides information about overnight interest payments related to the current trading instrument and calculated position size. It displays swap types, nominal values, daily and yearly rates per lot, and for both long and short positions.

The trading tab allows users to execute trades based on the calculated results and manage the trading process. Using this EA is straightforward for determining position size based on stop-loss levels and current market conditions, and executing trades accordingly.
